Every child has talents and dreams. KidsRights beliefs that all children should be able to realise the enormous potential they have within them.
That is why KidsRights stands up for vulnerable children all over the world, offering them direct support tailored to their needs and focusing attention on their position and their rights.
KidsRights helps by financing existing, well-run local projects. Often, some relatively simple assistance is all that children need to make tremendous progress, giving them the chance to build a better future.
KidsRights offers a platform to children who, without help, often find it difficult to capture the world's attention. As Nobel Peace Laureate Desmond Tutu has said: "KidsRights seeks to give a voice to the voiceless".
Our partners
KidsRights is a professional organization with an excellent network at its disposal to effectively impact the lives of vulnerable children worldwide. KidsRights ensures that donations are for the full 100% invested into the project of your choice. This is achieved through KidsRights’ Founders: a special group of companies and individuals who explicitly help finance the overhead expenses of the organization. Besides support from our Founders and partners, KidsRights co-operates with local project partners and other non-governmental
organizations to achieve the best possible care for vulnerable children.
In Italy its main Founder is SONY. SONY sees KidsRights as its ideal partner, since both have common values to share: transparency and consistent commitment.
“Adopted” Project in Italy
KidsRights Italia Onlus works in support of several projects. The main project “adopted” by KidsRights several years ago is The Associazione Peter Pan Onlus.
The Associazione Peter Pan Onlus initiated in Rome in 1994, based on the wish of parents of children with cancer, to offer families concrete support, while facing the difficult experience of this terrible illness. In particular, the Association has created facilities to host families coming from outside of Rome. Today, these facilities represent not just a simple dormitory, but a real welcoming and warm ‘Home’ for the whole family of a sick child; where pain is healed with joy, attention, and treatment; where each family can talk to one another in order to share concerns and hope, thus overcoming isolation.
