Exhibition Details


 

The exhibit presents children's issues as they relate to the following themes:
  • Community and Homelessness
  • Education and Child Labor
  • Health and Nutrition
  • Environment
  • Violence and War
  • Peace

The exhibit celebrates the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and its presentation of the ground-breaking document, "Declaration of the Rights of the Child" unanimously adopted by the General Assmbly of the United Nations on November 20, 1959.

Created by SGI-USA, with the close cooperation of (UNICEF), for public education and awareness, the exhibit's ultimate goal is to encourage our commitment to further promote children's rights.

This interactive walk-through exhibit contains photos, artwork and information about the rights and realities of children around the world.  It is appropriate, informative and inspiring for children as well as adults.
The design of the exhibit is two-fold: each panel is divided into an upper and lower half. 

The upper half contains in-depth educational information, while the lower half contains panels that are interactive for children.
