Help a child toward a better future with 1 euro a day

KidsRights offers you the opportunity to support a child with 1 euro a day. KidsRights works with successful small-scale, yet scaleable, projects in countries where many children are victims of neglect, abuse, violence, exploitation and discrimination. The projects focus on a child's basic needs: health, nutrition, education, shelter and attention. Your participation in the KidsCare program guarantees these services for one of these children. The children are personally supported by our project partners with the expertise and capacity to understand what each child's needs are. This all-round approach gives the child the opportunity to build toward a better future.

Help children, join the KidsCare Programme

By donating 1 euro a day you guarantee complete care for a child in one of the KidsRights projects. You will receive information about the project and of the children being supported. A detailed profile of two kids is provided to show and reflect upon the circumstances in which children live and how their lives change with your support.

At this moment the KidsCare Programme is available for three aid projects. You can choose the project in which you would like to support one or more children.

Nkosi's Haven

Nkosi's Haven is a safe haven for mothers with aids and their children. The project was set up specifically to prevent that mothers with aids should leave their children behind in an orphanage, as so often happens when the mother's end is near. Read more about Nkosi's Haven ...

St Joseph's Care and Trust in Sizanani

In South Africa, many children lost their parents to aids. They grow up with their grandmother or only with their brothers and sisters. The program of St. Joseph's Care and Support Trust Sizanani Village near Johannesburg provides direct tailored support to aids-related orphans and vulnerable children in the community. Baan Zion Child Care Trust (ZCCT)

A child of detained parents in Thailand has two options: placement in an orphanage and forfeit a reunion with your parents or live with the parents in prison. KidsRights' partner ZCCT, in agreement with the parent, removes the children from prison and places them in a warm family environment with peers for as long as their parents remain in prison. During their stay, the contact with the imprisoned parent remains intact.
