Adam Muhammad Adam Manak (16), from Nigeria, comes from a community deeply affected by armed conflict, where children often have little say, education is treated as a privilege, and child abuse and labor remain daily challenges. He believes children have a voice and a role to play in changing this reality.
As a Child EORE Ambassador, Adam raises awareness about the risks of explosive ordnance through radio programs that help children and communities stay safe. He is also an active member of International Youth Changemakers (IYCM), working with peers to develop initiatives that promote children’s rights and participation.
Supported by mentors and organizations, Adam has strengthened his skills in leadership, advocacy and community engagement. He completed an eight-week training with Voice Up North and continues to share his message online. With more than 19,000 Instagram followers, he uses his platform to speak about children’s rights, education and empowerment, inspiring young people in his community and beyond.
