Aranya Abeer Khan Prapya
In my opinion even the smallest mind that does not want to remain so small has the power to transform the world he was born in.

Aranya Abeer Khan Prapya (16), is from Bangladesh. Growing up in Bangladesh, Aranya Abeer Khan Prapya saw how floods, unsafe water and limited access to basic needs can affect children’s health and safety. These experiences inspired him to explore how technology and innovation can help communities become safer and more sustainable.
Aranya created LotusGuard, an automated water quality system designed to prevent unsafe water from reaching communities in flood-prone areas. By addressing water safety, the system aims to reduce health risks for children and families.
He also developed RiverGuard, an intelligent environmental monitoring system that helps identify illegal sand extraction and protect river ecosystems that communities depend on. As a leader of a student-led innovation team, Aranya brings young people together to research real-world challenges and develop practical, scalable solutions. Supported by his parents, teachers and mentors, he is showing how technology can turn everyday problems into opportunities for change.
