Silence the Guns

KidsRights proudly supports the initiative, Silence the Guns, a project designed by Children 4 Peace. After witnessing first hand the impact of radicalization and violent extremism on children, Divina knew that she had to do to something. Divina, thus created Children 4 Peace (C4P). C4P objective is to ensure that children participate in peacebuilding and sustainable development.  C4P wants to show children that they are the true bearers of peace.

With the project of Silence the Guns, Children 4 Peace provides local scholarships to girls who’ve been unable to attend school due to conflict and financial constraints, as well as building children’s capacity on topics such as leadership, peacebuilding, human rights, and gender equity. C4P will also conduct workshops, where they estimate to have 3000 children participate. They will cover topics related to leadership, peacebuilding, hate speech, human rights and children’s rights.
