Smart Street School

KidsRights is honoured to support Crossadder Foundation’s “Smart Street School” project in Pakistan. The Smart Street School project is a cost-efficient, portable, and sustainable substitute for schools that aims to increase access to education in the country. This fully refurbished, solar-powered container is equipped with all the state-of-the-art educational equipment needed to teach almost 60 students at a time, even in the remotest areas of Pakistan.

The Smart Street Schools will be used to periodically facilitate 250+ students on a daily basis. 85% of these students belong to the local Christian community from the nearby French Colony slums — 1/3 minority communities situated in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
