Country Representatives

As part of our decentralization efforts, in 2025, we launched our State of Youth Country Representatives. Country Representatives support and nurture a community for Chapter Leaders across key countries and encourage a sense of belonging and collaboration. Country Representatives are a point of contact and connector for the Movement in their country and the global team, helping to create relevant opportunities and improve the quality and relevance of State of Youth to children and youth.

Currently, we have 5 Country Representatives across 4 countries:

• Tamanji, Kenya (27, State of Youth @ Kakuma)
• Mujtaba, (in-country) Afghanistan (19, State of Youth @ Rasa Foundation)
• Nastaran, (based in France) Afghanistan (24, State of Youth @ WEA)
• Tamzid, Bangladesh (18, State of Youth @ Dhaka)
• Sa’id, Nigeria (25, State of Youth @ Gombe)
