Founder and chairman of KidsRights Marc Dullaert received a cheque for 1.5 million euros from Dorine Manson, Managing Director Charity Lotteries, during the live broadcast of Koffietijd on Monday March 2nd. “I know what a great job you are doing with KidsRights and we are very impressed with your work, so we would like KidsRights to be able to support even more children to stand up for children’s rights worldwide” said Dorine Manson.
With this amount, KidsRights can ensure that even more young Changemakers around the world are heard and supported. KidsRights Changemakers is a worldwide movement of children and young people who stand up for children’s rights through self initiated local projects that improve children’s rights in their own communities.
“We want to empower young changemakers and promote children’s rights worldwide. We do this by taking action, doing research and making sure children are heard. Together we will move the world and make it a fairer, more beautiful, safer, more liveable and healthier place. The improvement and observance of children’s rights is and remains necessary. We are very happy that the Dutch Postcode Lottery supports us in this ambition. I would therefore like to thank the participants in the Dutch Postcode Lottery”.
