We are very pleased to announce that Marc Dullaert, founder and chairman of KidsRights and former Kinderombudsman, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Kinderrechtencollectief (the Dutch Children’s Rights Collective). He has been appointed alongside 16-year-old Lars Westra who will take on the role of vice-chairman. The Kinderrechtencollectief is a network of Dutch children’s rights organizations who ensure that children’s rights are upheld in the Netherlands. They also advise the Dutch government on how children’s rights can better be respected within the Netherlands.
Together, they stress the importance of giving children and young people a platform to have their voices heard. We wish them both luck in their new positions!
