On December 4th, the International Children’s Peace Prize will be awarded to a child who fights courageously for children’s rights. The official ceremony will take place in the renowned Hall of Knights in international city of peace and justice The Hague, the Netherlands. KidsRights will stream the exclusive event live on Facebook and invites everyone to watch the ceremony.
The guestlist for the ceremony includes previous International Children’s Peace Prize winner and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan and executive editor of The Economist Daniel Franklin. Furthermore, the event will be attended by the international press. Speakers include 2011’s International Children’s Peace Prize winner Chaeli Mycroft, who fights for the right of children with disabilities.
By livestreaming the event, KidsRights provides the whole world access to a unique event during which young, inspiring changemakers are celebrated. These young children are given a worldwide stage to voice their message and to inspire people everywhere to stand up for children’s rights.
