Angie Vanesa Quintero Gómez

I dream of a world where every child, adolescent, and young person has a place to create, be heard, and grow. That's why I believe in strengthening families, educational institutions, sports facilities, and cultural spaces.

Angie Vanesa Quintero Gómez (15), from Colombia, grew up in El Peñol, Antioquia, a community shaped by memories of conflict and social challenges. These experiences strengthened her sensitivity to children’s rights and inspired her to use art and participation to amplify the voices of children and adolescents.

Through cultural and social inclusion spaces, Angie uses artistic expression to help young people share their experiences, memories and identities. She contributes to recognizing and respecting cultural, ethnic and territorial diversity through collective creative projects. She also supports peacebuilding through dialogue, active listening and art that reflects local realities.

Angie takes part in workshops, group meetings and awareness activities organized by Casa Atrapasueños and the Casa de la Cultura in El Peñol. These spaces give children and adolescents a safe place to speak, create and participate in their communities. With constant support from her family, Angie is using her creativity and growing leadership to help build a more inclusive and peaceful community.
