Since a young age, Aarna observed the effects of pollution and indiscriminate activities towards the environment but was only a passive contributor towards saving the environment because of her young age. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic, she felt that she was able to do more, and provide a constant effort. Since then, Aarna has performed plantation drives in various places in India such as Delhi, Jaipur, Ambala, Kalka, Shimla and many more. With the help of the people, her initiatives were able to be a great success. She has also started the Youth Environmentalist Club wherein she and her army plant trees across the globe. Through her plantation drives, food camps and other initiatives, she was able to create a concrete impact towards the betterment of the people’s surroundings. For her efforts, she was invited by The Honorable Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, Shri Bhupender Yadav. She also has been appreciated by Work Safe BC, an Australian organization caring for the health of Australian Workers. Aarna wants that the ‘Harit’ campaign’ can be initiated by her with an aim to plant a hundred thousand trees by the end of 2023.
