Born in Champaran, Bihar—one of India’s most underdeveloped regions—Adarsh grew up with cracked school walls, flickering electricity, and a mother who washed utensils to cover his fees. Against poverty, ridicule, and family hardship, education became his rebellion and his vision for change. Determined to break cycles of exclusion, he founded Skillzo and IgniteBharat, initiatives that bring entrepreneurship, digital literacy, and mentorship to rural students in Bihar, where average annual income falls below $1,000. His programs connect youth with industry leaders, global opportunities, and practical skills—creating pathways once unimaginable in his village.
Through partnerships with IIT Guwahati, IIT Madras, and India Network, Adarsh has mobilized over $25,000 in resources to train 3,000+ rural students, mentor nearly 200 youth directly, and build a digital community of 600+ future changemakers. His grassroots efforts—spanning workshops, summits, and mentorship—have reached 100,000+ people online and 7,000+ offline, with mentees going on to become TEDx speakers, award winners, and startup founders. From village lanes to university corridors, Adarsh is proving that resilience and opportunity can transform not only individual lives, but entire communities.
