Agape has seen many children struggle in the Kagoma community, especially young women who were unaware about menstrual hygiene. Agape took it upon herself to introduce a class about menstruation health for young girls aged between 8 to 18 years of age. It involved making reusable sanitary pads, teaching girls about personal health and sanitation and encouraging young girls to be safe. Agape has been a volunteer at the organisation Heart to Heart since the young age of 9 years old. In collaboration with the organisation Agape has gone to multiple schools in her community to educate youth about children’s rights and child protection. Agape dreams of a safe environment for all girls free from all forms of discrimination and abuse. She plans to build a rescue Centre for all vulnerable girls in Uganda. A support place where they can be encouraged, rehabilitated, counselled, trained, and fully empowered to live a fulfilled life.
