Seeing the caste-based discrimination in schools, villages and almost all strata of life, Amisha always wanted to do something for her community. Therefore, Amisha became member of the Adolescent Club (Kishori Samiti), of which she is currently one of the leaders. Amisha conducts meetings along with her peers to motivate parents to send their girl children to school, and she generates awareness on the importance of menstrual health hygiene amongst adolescent girls in her village. Amisha also teaches younger children at Community Education Centres and helps them studying.
