During the pandemic, Amna began to educate herself about youth activism. After following several online courses, Amna set up her Global Creative Hub platform and has become an advocate for girls’ STEM education. She has organised several Hackathons and has set up a mentoring programme, #STEM16, to help young girls with digital enablement. #STEM16 consisted of 16 interviews with women in STEM from 8 different countries, a fundraiser and a mentorship programme for girls in Pakistan. Amna is currently working on her initiative, STEM Girl, in which she seeks to inspire young girls through storytelling and technology. Over the course of her activism, she has organised over 10 events which have inspired over 500 young girls. She hopes to register the Global Creative Hub as an NGO in the future.
