Ananya (12) and Shyam (14), siblings from India have demonstrated remarkable dedication to environmental conservation from a young age. Inspired by witnessing a bird using plastic waste for its nest, they launched a neighborhood recycling campaign and engaged in various eco-friendly projects, including clean-up drives, cloth bag making, and tree planting.
Their creativity led to several impactful initiatives: they produced award-winning short films and documentaries on plastic pollution and sustainable water use, and actively promoted recycling through social media challenges.
They founded the MindUrMind app for mental health support and organized multiple community outreach events, including educational sessions for laborers and donations of hygiene products and groceries. Their efforts have saved substantial amounts of carbon emissions and significantly contributed to environmental and social causes.
