Anghelina Severin, a 17-year-old from Moldova, is a dedicated human rights advocate whose early exposure to human rights issues shaped her activism. She serves on the Children’s Advisory Team at Child Rights Connect and conducted a significant survey, “Children’s Vision for Human Rights,” involving over 4,000 children across 53 locations. Anghelina has delivered speeches at the UN headquarters in Geneva and volunteered at American Spaces.

Anghelina has helped initiate discussions with Moldova’s Ministry of Education to introduce optional sex education in schools. Her efforts have educated more than 1,500 young people about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and human rights.
