Ann has organized five schools clubs in her community. She has been training them on the 1989 Convention on the rights of a child (CRC), in particular on the rights of children to participate in schools on issues that are affecting their lives. Ann has also set up community children participation clubs to advocate for child participation. Ann also engages community stakeholders to include children when making or taking decisions on matters that are affecting children rights in the community. She has been educating her peers on the four guiding principles of the CRC and the purpose of the CRC, the right to participate on issues that are affecting their lives in schools and in the community, and on their role and responsibilities in the homes.
