Anvi, a 16-year-old from India, is a passionate advocate for HPV vaccination and cervical cancer prevention. Her journey began after learning about the vaccine during a family doctor’s appointment, inspired by her grandfather’s struggle with cancer. Recognizing the lack of awareness about cervical cancer, particularly in underserved regions like Rajasthan, she launched the 0.HPV campaign to educate communities, expand vaccine access, and influence health policy. Through school visits, corporate outreach, and sessions in women’s jails, Anvi has directly reached thousands of students, parents, and community members, ensuring vital information reaches those most at risk.
Supported by her family, medical experts, and organizations like FOGSI and Karma Foundation, Anvi combines grassroots activism with policy advocacy. She has developed educational materials, integrated celebrity-endorsed awareness campaigns, and even contributed to innovations like a portable cervical cancer detection device. Her work bridges healthcare, education, and technology, inspiring communities to take proactive steps in cancer prevention and demonstrating the transformative power of youth-led health advocacy.
