Growing up in a deprived area and diagnosed with autism at age 10, Arthur has turned his experiences into a catalyst for advocacy, focusing on making participation accessible and meaningful for all youth. His initiatives include founding the YOUTH VOICE Group, establishing a buddy program that engaged over 40 young people in a “classroom economy” to run outdoor activities, and launching his book, Pause, Play, Fast-Forward: The Journey of Children in Wales. This book serves as an educational resource on children’s rights and was released at a cross-party event in the Senedd. Additionally, Arthur’s involvement as a Young Advisor for the Diana Award and his leadership in chairing the Welsh Delegation to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child have significantly impacted youth engagement in policy. In 2023, he celebrated his hometown Cardiff becoming the UK’s first Child Friendly City. Arthur also founded Future Youth Impact to broaden inclusive youth participation across three core areas: Engagement, Research, and Consultancy.
