Atlas started his activism because he realised the human impact on the climate crisis and the consequences of this for a safe life in the future for young people. He has his own radio program where he produces and broadcasts about climate crisis. In Sept 2019, there were 4500 people in Istanbul marching for climate justice with him. He attended COP25 in Madrid along with Fridays For Future activists from around the world. In 2020 he received the WWF Global Youth Award. He worked with the EU Delegation in Turkey on the Climate Diplomacy Week in 2019. He has attended and made a speech at the 2020 UN Sustainability Summit for a Wake-Up Call to the politicians. His main motive is to hold the governments responsible for their inactions and that the children are in danger of the future consequences. He demands that Turkey ratifies the Paris Treaty.
