Bahara has made remarkable strides in advocating for women’s and girls’ rights amidst the harsh restrictions imposed by the Taliban. Despite facing severe limitations, Bahara has been instrumental in providing education and support through her organization, Hope Light. She has taught English, life skills, and empowerment courses, and facilitated psychosocial support for survivors of the Sayed-Ul-Shuhada school bombing. Bahara’s impactful initiatives have improved literacy and opportunities for over 300 students, including survivors of violence, and she continues to make a significant difference through her scholarship and leadership roles in international youth forums.
