Doris Kabwe, a 17-year-old from Zambia, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and leadership despite financial hardships. Raised in a shanty compound, Doris has actively contributed to child rights and equal opportunities through her involvement in the Human Rights 75 Initiative at the UN in Geneva and the COVID-19 awareness and food strategy program. As a Child Advisor at Child Rights Connect, Doris has been recognized by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights for her advocacy. Her future aspirations include becoming a lawyer to champion children’s rights.
