Esil, a 13-year-old from Kayseri, Turkey, is dedicated to promoting gender equality and inspiring girls to pursue careers in STEM. Recognizing the lack of visible role models in science and technology, Esil launched a YouTube channel where she interviews female scientists and entrepreneurs, showcasing their achievements and encouraging girls to dream beyond societal expectations. With support from academics and the technology company Twin Bilim, she has organized workshops, school events, and webinars to empower her peers.

Through her projects, Esil has reached more than 100,000 people online and 10,000 offline, creating lasting change in her community and beyond. She has also presented her work at national conferences and earned second place in the 2022 Global Sustainability Awards with her “SDGs Kids TV” channel. By combining digital outreach with grassroots activities, Esil continues to break barriers for girls in education and STEM, showing that young voices can lead powerful movements for equality.
