Faith is a disability rights activist who is inspiring and helping live, learn, navigate and teach herself and others how to overcome living with Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Cortical Vision Impairment with the right support. Her message is to not let your disability stop you from trying to achieve your goals. She volunteered for various Research studies on Bone Health and Physical Activity and on Functional Electrical Stimulation on three muscle groups while walking on a treadmill for thirty minutes, three times a week for twelve weeks. The data collected was able to help with studies. She also participated on a panel at University of Delaware to speak to roughly 60 Physical Therapy Students about her different experiences. Faith has been volunteering with The Runway of Dreams Foundation, that works for a future of inclusion and opportunity in the fashion industry for people with disabilities. She appeared on their website and in a CBS segment and walked the runaway in NYC. She was one of the finalists for the 2018 Harford County Commission for Women, ‘Women of Tomorrow Awards’ for commitment to the community. In the future, Faith plans to continue bringing about awareness on disability.
