Fardeen, a 14-year-old child advocate, aims to empower children to create change and work towards the 17 Global Goals. He has been recognized for his achievements, including being the youngest Diana Awards recipient in Africa and a nominee for the International Children’s Peace Prize. Through his football team, he has reached over 8,000 children, promoting education in Kwale County, Kenya. Fardeen’s initiative, Kikao Cultures, has reached more than 80,000 young people worldwide, inspiring action towards the Sustainable Development Goals. He believes that all schools should teach about the Goals to ensure no one is left behind in meeting the vision for 2030. Fardeen suggests that governments collect feedback from children’s assemblies to gain insights into issues affecting children in their countries.
