At the age of 13, Fernanda took initiative in asociación civil Hogar de la familia Oaxaqueña A.C., creating the project “Todos por un mundo sustentable” (Everyone for a sustainable world). During this project, her team of 23 children and herself collected materials to recycle and they campaigned about recycling as well. Currently, Fernanda studies and she is planning to develop the program further. Fernanda was named “Guardian of the Children” by the organization México por los Niños where she carries out the campaign “Trees for food“.
