When Fernando was 9-year-old, he started doing research on the disappearance of children and adolescents. He found out that more girls disappear than boys, so Fernando started to do research with a gender perspective and in relation to human trafficking. For this, he won 4 National Science Awards of the program “Pauta”. Fernando shares his work through various media outlets to raise awareness about the importance of defending the rights of children and adolescents, as well as combating the disappearance and non-redress of victims. Fernando provides free lectures to high school students on the defense of children’s rights, the issue of disappearance and their prevention. He also has a YouTube channel called “Fer Against Disappearance and For Rights” for this.
