Gabriela is a remarkable young girl hailing from Campinas, Sao Paulo, who has dedicated herself to advocating for the menstrual dignity and empowerment of youth. Growing up, she was acutely aware of the social injustices around her and was taught the importance of dialogue and public sector involvement in securing basic humanitarian rights for all children. Today, Gabriela continues to broaden her knowledge and invest in menstrual hygiene and rights projects while working with Interact Campinas Jovens Em Ação to encourage and empower youth to be active in leading change and fighting for basic needs and the sexism that still exists in Brazil.
