Genesis decided to act when he witnessed the high levels of illiteracy in his community, as well as the lack of access to basic needs. Genesis formed GEMAISAG Foundation, with three others, to advocate against child abuse and to ensure quality education for all children. He also formed a basic literacy program which combats illiteracy for vulnerable children. Genesis also works to coach children and teenagers on how to develop their talents, even teaching them how to get a scholarship. He has trained over 30 children to assist them in receiving a primary education. Genesis has already been recognised internationally for his work for children’s rights.
