Nigerian children have some of the most disturbing statistics, and Ibrahim uses that as his own personal motivation. He is a speaker of the Borno State Children’s Parliament, and leads 58 children, including children with disabilities, in Parliament. His activities across the years led to the passage of the Child Rights Law in Borno state parliament in 2022. He led advocacy, and eventually became a member of the committee that drafted the law. He is also denouncing the attacks on schools, including by calling on the government to act on the issue. In the future, Ibrahim plans to continue advocating for children’s rights through effective representation in forums. He plans to build a strong organization that will help bring peace to children across Nigeria. He plans to be an inspiration to other children and to defend their rights.
