Isabelle is a 17 year old girl born in Grajaú, the most vulnerable district in São Paulo, and she was raised by her mother. When she was 13 years old, Isabelle created with her mother the project Meninas Negras – Black Girls Project. The project aims to make more black girls have access to opportunities to become prominent women leaders and global citizens. Isabelle leads the organization of development trails ranging from school reinforcement to corporate content, entrepreneurship and social rights. Her project is helping not only black girls, but young people from periphery in general. Currently, 2000 people want to be part of the project and that is why Isabelle’s next step is to formalize it as an NGO to start expanding its work. Isabelle has impacted more than 100 lives. In the future, Isabelle dreams to reach and transform a minimum of 20.000 lives until 2030 and spread to Latin America.
