Jamil has been working on various issues including climate change, street child, cyber bullying, education and poverty. He continues to carry out clean-up campaigns with members of his organization USOS, and organizes environmental awareness seminars with them to take steps to protect the environment. During the pandemic, Jamil went door-to-door to teach children who were unable to go to school. He also organised a campaign and distributed masks to raise awareness about the Covid-19 virus.
