Jashoda lives in Ashapura, a remote village in Osian, and is now attending high school, which is 10 km away from her village. She has trained 120 Girls in Life Skill Education. She is leading campaigns on ‘Stop Violence against Women’ in her area and motivating girls to get trained in self-defence. She was able to stop 4 child marriages, 10 girls were motivated to pursue higher education and 500 girls were oriented on stopping violence against women. In the future, Jashoda wants be elected as president of the village level girls federation and later on as Health Secretary in Gram Panchayat level girls federation. She also wants make every girl aware of her sexual and reproductive health rights. She wants to play the role of catalyst to link girls with health service providers at village level.
