Jasmina is one of the few educated Roma people in her city. She is very aware of the discrimination in her community, the Roma children begging and the negative attitude of the non-Roma population towards them. Therefore, she intends to fight against the bad treatment faced by her community. Jasmina has been able to raise awareness regarding this amongst the president of parliament, various political entities and ambassies of numerous countries. She also interviewed the president of Montenegro, and she had a few public performances on the national television on many different occasions. Jasmina has been Golden Advisor of Ombudsperson for the last three years, she also participated in a campaign to promote the Lanzarote Convention of the Council of Europe. She was a participant in the preparation of reports and recommendations of Montenegro which children needed to participate in ENYA2020. She took dozens of children off the streets and helped them and their families start their education. Jasmina has received the state award “For Excellent 5”.
