Joseph has grown up in a charitable children’s organization. While there, he has been very instrumental in highlighting any child needs to the administration in a peaceful way. He has been a member of the children assembly from 2014, where he ascended to be the children’s governor in 2016. He has participated in various forums where he has highlighted issues affecting children. For example, in June 2017, for the national celebration of the day of the African child at a high school in Bungoma, he was the guest of honour. He, together with his assembly (KCA-Bungoma) came up with a children charter on what they wish to be addressed. Joseph has been able to teach the community on children and parental responsibilities. The charter, which he presented to the governor, identifies issues captured within the Country Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), among which is a request for funds to help come up with a children’s policy.
