Joy educates children on their rights, in the children’s department of the church. She has organized a seminar during which she gave prizes to participants and promoted education for girls. She also visits schools during Parents and Teachers Association meetings to talk about good parenting and the importance of education. Joy collaborates with organizations and sensibilization groups to visit interior villages and clans heads to establish the child right act. Joy has motivated many changemakers of her age to join the peace movement in her local community, which helps to stop the community from going to war with the neighbouring village.
