Juliana Valentina Grazziani Contreras, a 17-year-old from Colombia, has demonstrated exceptional resilience and dedication to child protection despite her own experiences with conflict and trauma. As president of the Children’s and Adolescents’ Participation Table in Convencion, she has spearheaded over 30 social initiatives and advocated for the safe schools protocol and public peace policies. Her efforts, which include leading webinars, participating in policy development, and collaborating with organizations like Save the Children, have significantly advanced the protection of children’s rights and the promotion of a safer, more just society.
