All 2025 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

Kaashvi, a 17-year-old from India, is tackling the inequities that prevent children from accessing education, healthcare, and basic dignity. Growing up in Rajasthan, she witnessed the devastating effects of fluoride contamination, inadequate menstrual health resources, and unequal educational opportunities. Determined to change this, Kaashvi co-headed Sanchay, a student-led fluoride mitigation campaign, and launched Boond, a project providing menstrual hygiene education, reusable pads, and safe disposal systems to underserved communities.

Her work has directly impacted over 12,000 people, including schoolchildren, women, and residents in rural villages, while building sustainable water-secure communities. Kaashvi has trained local leaders, partnered with NGOs like WaterAid, and raised $30,000 to expand her initiatives. Through workshops, infrastructure projects, and volunteer-led programs, she empowers communities with knowledge, resources, and long-term solutions. Kaashvi’s dedication ensures that every child can rise above survival to achieve their full potential, bridging gaps in health, education, and equality.
