All 2025 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

At just 14, Kashfiya is standing up against child marriage and gender inequality in rural Bangladesh. After witnessing her classmates forced into early marriages, she trained with UNICEF and formed her own team to campaign for girls’ rights. Despite initial resistance, she now works closely with schools and villages—organizing seminars, courtyard meetings, and interventions whenever a child marriage is reported. Her activism has already stopped 5 child marriages, helped 15 girls return to school, and raised awareness among nearly 3,000 people. Through her leadership and courage, Kuhu is proving that even the youngest voices can break cycles of discrimination and create safer, more equal futures for girls.
