Kathak is the founder and president of the environmental organization “Aranyak” and started a planned movement called “Environment First, Future First” to reduce noise pollution and river pollution, and to enhance plastic recycling and environmental awareness building. Kathak also formed the Climate Striking Force (CSF). With the members of “Aranyak”, he is working as a Quick Response Team, working for the Climate Affected Children in their designated area. He is a member of Global Children’s Advisory Team with Child Rights Connect. He is also a member of the District Child Labour Monitoring Committee. Through his Climate Striking Force, disaster-affected children are being taught disaster management, climate adaptation, climate science and life skills.
