Kimberly is very passionate about waste management; she wishes to change the world. It pains her to see children in dirty environments.  In order to put her passion into action Kimberly conducted awareness raising about the effects of climate change and how it affects the lives of children. She took her initiative a step further and identified poor waste collection and disposal as the biggest challenge in her community. She thus created an environmental project called Busia Greenhill recycling. She singled out waste collection and recycling, targeting food waste and plastic. She uses community estates – household recycling and school recycling points to process all the litter collected. In the future, she wants to reach more children and community members with information on waste management.
