Alongside studies, Labiba is involved in various child and youth development activities. She is also a member of the student cabinet in her school, a member of the Girls’ Action Team, the secretary of Union Child and Youth Network, member of Union Child Protection Committee and of the Upazila child and youth network. A 14-year-old girl from her community was kidnapped from Barakata union on the way to school on 14th October 2018. To rescue the kidnapped girl, Labiba urgently called a Union Children and Youth Network meeting. Following the decision of the meeting, a large human chain was organized on Burimari road, including the students of al schools of the union and the people of the region, where Labiba requested all people and administration to take action to rescue the girl. Labiba played a vital role in saving two other kidnapped girls.
