Lucinda is a 17-year-old from Sierra Leone. She is an FGM activist, peer mentor, and high school graduate from the Mabonkani community in Northern Sierra Leone. She has served as a peer mentor against FGM for over 6 years to date with the National Movement for Emancipation and Progress (NaMEP). She has conducted women’s engagement, and school outreach education for more than 1,000 children. She has also conducted one-on-one mentorship and prevented FGM of 125 girls.
