Lusi is running her own project “Dream Accelerator Project” where she uses sports (being a cricket player herself) to engage girls, boys and those of diverse genders to play a sport together. She also conducts trainings on Gender Equality with the same children’s group reaching more than 100 children and 500 community members. As a result of Lusi’s campaigning and projects, she has united 100 children to become gender equality champions in her community, she has enrolled girls into schools and changed the mindsets of hundreds of community members. Lusi spoke at the House of Commons in the British Parliament about the right to identity and equality of children like her who are connected with the streets and slums. She has spoken at Youth Ki Awaaz’s Annual Conclave that has an audience of more than 500 students and professionals.
