Maisara is the speaker of the National Children’s Parliament and first child to speak in the African Union Commission. He introduced to the government a project according to which for every hospital bill the patient would pay 10%, while the government would cover 90%. He is also the National Advocate of Child Right Act 2003, member of National Child Rights implementation Committee of Nigeria (NACRIC) and president and founder of Village Child Forum in his hometown. Maisara is the Nigerian delegate in the Global Summit to tackle Online Child Sexual Exploitation (Ethiopia) and 40th session of UNESCO General Assembly in Paris. He was champion of 2019 Ethernet Charity Foundation of Dambatta LG. He was best speaker of the panel discussion on the theme ‘Creating safe spaces for children’ 2018 organized by European Union and British Council. Thanks to his efforts, more than 1.5 million children got back to school, the number of malnourished children in Kano state has reduced with 45% and more than 2.5 million children have access to full health care services.
