Mariya is known as one of the best seamstresses at the Petalenets Sewing Workshop, a social enterprise for Roma women. She uses her skillset to provide toys for visually impaired students. She plans to create a project “Children for Children”, in which children will create toys that will contribute to the development of children with vision problems, and any other disabilities. In addition, she acts as a mentor to Roma women who wants to learn sewing.
