All 2023 Children’s Peace Prize Nominees

Maynul is a 17-year-old Bangladeshi changemaker and social innovator. During the Corona Pandemic in 2020, he and many children around him became addicted to the internet and video sharing platforms. More than 6000000 children and teenagers in Bangladesh are using internet and video sharing platforms. At that time, while using the Internet and video sharing platforms, children and teenagers were exposed to some objectionable video content. These see many children and teenagers getting involved in various crimes, some stop going to school, suffer from depression, guilt, or in some cases resort to drug abuse and suicide. This incident shook Maynul and he vowed, along with his team, not to let any child or teenager become a victim of any crime by watching these video contents.

Maynul has been working for 3 years to protect the rights of children and teenagers in safe internet and to provide peace in Bangladesh and has claimed the rights of many children and teenagers.
